Energy Systems Analysis and Policy Study Group

Leader Yasuhiko Kondou

Energy systems analysis by means of mathematical models, the energy management system of residential buildings in view of resiliency, the evaluation and analysis of energy conservation in the commercial sector, and the estimation of global sustainability indices considering energy and resources are the principal research subjects of this group. Through these studies ranging from a local level to a global level, together with official and non-official collaborative activities, we try to give insights into the optimal energy systems that attain the quadruple aims of Energy Security, Economic Efficiency, Environment and Safety (3E+S).
